My Personal Logos

T
This is my Personal Logos and I've used different techniques to make each one different. I used the width tool mostly on the first three which are the faces but the third one I used the pen tool for the tears. Then I put out all the shapes from the shape tool then perfected the shapes with the width tool. For the fifth one and sixth I used something different to perfect the fonts. I used the pucker tool for seventh to make it looked liked the colors were being sucked in while also using the gradient tool also. I used L,O,U, to make a guy sticking his tongue out for a typeface for the 8th. I used twirl tool to make it look like leaves moved by a wind for ninth. Tenth I made a giant so I used the pucker tool for that one. Eleventh logo I had used the crystallize tool to make it look like a animal deep in the sea. For the 12th and 13th logo I used twirl logo to make it look like symbols like a moon and fire. The fourteenth I made a tornado with line and width to make it look like it is. 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th logos I used twirl tool and a few other tools to make it look like (15th ying yang symbol, 16th claws, 17th tidal wave, and 18th curl) it is. The 19th logo made like a lily pad. Finally the 20th logo used the   Scallop tool to make a my own unique type of leaves or bush.

Kerning Information

Kerning is about spacing the letters in a word. For a example in my score for the word holly the letters need to be spaced a couple inches apart, the same amount for the L's or the H and O. Their are three types of Kernes Optical, Metric, and Manual. How you can use the different Kernes is you look in the characters panel in Illustrator.

Comparing Saul Bass poster with my own JAWS poster

Some of the differences are I used five color unlike the hunger games poster that only used three colors. A similarity of the two movie posters is the fact it describes both movies pretty well. Also another similarity is that both posters use red, black, and white colors. Although I did add two kinds of blues to describe my poster to make it a lot easier to understand. How their alike is that the black shows the characters for the movies and how they will deal with so much trouble that will or has already happens to them. Sorry though the Hunger Games Poster picture is blurry I found this on Google.
